Citiboyz expands Euro distribution
Gay twink studio CitiBoyz Video announced last week they have signed an agreement with Amsterdam-based Out Europe BV to distribute the CitiBoyz line of twink DVD’s across Europe. Out Europe is partnering with the Dutch distributor Select Distribution BV. The two companies will market the CitiBoyz line to retailers as well as consumers, the latter being sold to through their network of top gay consumer sites including SHOPGAY.NL and OUTUK.COM, as well as through promotions in the European gay press.
“We’re excited that, at last, the full line of CitiBoyz DVD’s will be available in gay retail stores in Europe”, said Mike Gray, Out Europe’s VP Marketing. “We’ll be launching the studio early in 2006 with the latest four titles, and then adding more best-sellers from the CitiBoyz catalogue throughout the year”.
“My partner Gage and I are likewise excited at the prospect of seeing our line expand into the European market”, said CitiBoyz President Steve Shay. “We’ve had a small but loyal following in Europe for many years, so it’s great to know that many more consumers will be seeing our work”.
