More drama at Lucas Entertainment
Well, it seems the drama has not ended in the Lucas camp. I just received a rather lengthy rant from Lucas Entertainment Publicity Director Heather Reznor concerning the latest developments with Chad Hunt. Below is a snippet from here comments. The press release she is referring to was the source for my post yesterday.
Chad Hunt came to our offices yesterday and assured us that he wanted to continue working for Lucas Entertainment. Chad and Michael revised his current contract, Chad signed the first 2 drafts, there was a 3rd final draft being written- because they seemed to want it to be more specific this time around. I wrote up a press release about the revised contract. Chad not only signed it, but he also wrote in his own handwriting the quote that I used in the press release and handed it to me. I have both of these documents in my possession. He then went in the hallway and led Michael and I to believe he had already signed the 3rd draft, made little kisses goodbye and snuck out as we attended to business. The individual in our office in charge of the important technicality of getting Chad to sign the 3rd draft before he left failed to do so, and was fired because of this mistake. Promptly afterwards, Chad started telling people to take down our press release and continued to beat the dead horse, badmouthing Michael publicly again.
Chad’s behavior is exactly the kind of idiotic, childish crap that makes the entire industry look bad. The stunt he pulled is so absurdly juvenile that it shames me to have to deal with it.
There you have it. The latest in what I’m sure will be a continuing story.
